Hi,๐๐ป I am Aditya das final year computer science MCA student from vidyasagar university. I basically complete my BCA degree from Burdwan Raj College in 2020 but the end was not fruitful due to pandemic hit across the world๐ท, not only that it gave us a tag of COVID graduate 2020 batch. ๐๐
1st year
Our first semester session start from February 2021 in fully online mode with unknown classmates ๐ป. It's a very nice experience to study a full time computer science degree in online mode as well as a opportunity to do something new like, remote internship, learn new technology etc. I basically support the remote culture because it helps tech students to grow in their carrier and faster learning execution opportunity in other stuffs as well. But it is very difficult to manage and involve both workspace.
In the first two semester there is not any issues regarding studies except internet issues๐ and class bunk๐ฐ๐ฌ๐ . In the first semester, most of the papers are known from graduate and the online resources, basically Kunal's DSA bootcamp is next level and helps me a lot in exams. ๐๐จโ๐ป
2nd year
My third semester exam just finished in 28th July in 2022, on fully offline mode๐๐ข; finally after pandemic it's a first offline mode exam where student's protest and twitter trend not working at all for online exams.
As it is a fully offline mode semester exam so it's very difficult to concentrate in studies but my friends and teachers helps me a lot to prepare for exams. There are branch of issues arise due to offline classes as well like, 250 km of distance from home to university๐, attending classes in right time๐, attend lectures๐จโ๐ซ๐ฉโ๐ซ, Labs ๐จโ๐ปetc. There is lots of ups and downs but i can manage it anyway and gave my exams with my full enthusiasm. โ๐ป
Now it's my final year of masters in computer science, and focusing ๐ฏon lots of internships, learning, open source events and planning awesome activities. As following experts, mentors, and involve to open source community, I thing contribute to open source and involve in open source is a life changing factor. So according to less pressure of studies in my final semester, I fully focusing on contributing to open source, involve community, and apply open source mentorship programs and so on.๐
So thats all my overall of on going university experience. I hope it's make somewhat interesting. ๐ฉ
